We’ve now been living in Florida for over a year and our house for 6 months. We haven’t seen Grandma Cathy (or Grandpa Loren) since the end of July! So when Grandma Cathy told us she was coming we were excited!
Her visit overlapped with the final few days of Foi & the boys visiting – which was great. They haven’t seen each other in a long, long time either – so why not meet up in Florida?
Grandma Cathy’s visit started with attending soccer practice. Outside. On a warm, sunny evening in March. We went to food truck Friday with Foi. Had a full-fledged busy weekend with soccer, a birthday party, and a bit of pool time. She got to help get the kids ready for school and see how we live. We made sure to show her the highlights of why we live here and had a some great food – both at home and away. We played mini golf, had Blaze pizza, and overall had a wonderful time.
We’re thankful Grandma came to visit and hope to see her here again soon – next time with Grandpa Loren!
Awe…I loved seeing Joi and the boys. What a wonderful time. We couldn’t wait to see Grandma Cathy..a truly wonderful person!! We were disappointed that life had other plans for us!!! Will see Cathy and Loren soon. Those Foelske kids sure have great grandparents in Cathy and Loren. They are blessed.
