Our dear Adelaide turned 7! As all parents say “I can’t believe my child is ___ years old already!”
Adelaide celebrated her birthday by going to school 😉
She brought popsicles for her class – something sweet and anti-allergen to ensure everyone could partake.
Because it was a gymnastics & volleyball night, finding a restaurant open late was difficult. We found a Chinese buffet and ate noodles, tofu, rice, and veggies. The hostess must have heard us talking about her birthday and brought us a wonderfully cute dessert plate and sang “Happy Birthday” with the staff. It was unexpected and so appreciated.
After a “normal” few days to round out the week, we played our weekly soccer games before Adelaide’s big birthday party at an indoor trampoline park. The kids had a blast jumping around! All-in-all, it was a great birthday week and nice to spend it with our new circle of friends.
