Happy 5th Birthday, Emerson! You’re overwhelming! You’re scary smart, unbelievably empathetic, caring, joyful, and energetic. You’re 100% boy and we couldn’t imagine life without you.
We spent his birthday going to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exhibit at the Naples Children’s Museum with Mimi & Papa. We played mini golf on the way home and saw some small alligators. And had dinner at Olive Garden because Emi wanted “someone to sing happy birthday” to him – just like Adelaide had.
Notably, Emerson didn’t say a word about gifts. He didn’t ask and didn’t even think about it! He just enjoyed his great day. The next morning, he was shocked to see a pile of presents and we thanked him for being such a great kid and not expecting or asking about presents.
It was a perfect day for our wonderful little boy.
He truly is everything you say about him. He sure brings a huge smile to my face. You both are blessed with great kids!! Happy 5th Birthday. We enjoyed our time with him and the family!!!
