The weather this last week has been perfect. Warm during the day, but not humid. Cooler at night, but not cold. Gentle breezes. Sunshine. It’s not very often that the weather is like that in Northern Illinois, but when it is, we spend lots of time outside.
We played with chalk in our front yard, played in the dirt/sand, and went on a lot of walks. We visited a local playground one evening. We played on our backyard playground.
Adelaide has more books than 100, but our library requires some sort of “verification” to get a car on the wall. We’ve been keeping track on an app for a few months now and she surpassed 100! So she got to color a car and put it on the wall.
The kids have been missing Mommy while she’s at work. This is the scene when Mommy comes home.
Finally, Emerson is becoming more and more daring. He’s climbing on tables. He opens everything. And it finally lead to him getting a fat, bloody lip. He’s obviously fine. It bled a little bit and is a bit fat, but hasn’t slowed him down.
