Merry Christmas 2023! We kept up with our traditions – and perhaps started a new one. Babcock Ranch went BIG on Christmas this year. They always have a tree lighting ceremony and some great decorations in the town square – but this year, there was a 1/2 mile long lighted & decorated walking path going from the square to the tower. Music played, lots of interesting lighted decorations, and a very festive vibe. We walked it on Christmas Eve and it really set us in the mood of Christmas.
We then had a snack night, watched Home Alone, and slept under our Christmas trees in the living room. Classic.
Waking up, Santa definitely found us again. Spoiled for sure. Major gifts for the kids were tablets, a bunch of Rubix cubes for Emerson, and a hoverboard for Adelaide.
After opening gifts, we packed up and headed to Karissa’s parents’ home in Naples to have a big Christmas dinner and see Aunt Foi and her boys. It was a huge success. Great food. Fun times. A bit of a busy day, but all good.
Break is looking to be full of business…not much of a break. But it’ll be grand.
