This year for Thanksgiving, we had Karissa’s nearly lifelong friend and her family visit us from Illinois. They stayed for just about a week!
Before they came, we had mega help from Karissa’s parents to get our house HGTV-ready for guests. And the kids had a soccer game – Emerson got to play up a league and battle against his big sister!
We managed to sneak in a few fun activities between the kids having an absolute blast swimming & playing. We took a swamp tour in the Babcock Ranch Preserve, ate some amazing pizza at Fine Folks Pizza, played mini golf, checked the damage at Fort Myers Beach, and even saw manatees in the river. Oh, and that big feast for Thanksgiving!
It was a fun and exhausting time!
