Karissa’s parents, being just a few hours away from us, decided to come visit. We know they enjoy sunsets at the beach, so we figured it would be fun to take them to the Sunday drum circle at Siesta Beach. We experienced it last year one time and wanted to share the experience. They also wanted to see Sun-N-Fun, so it worked out perfectly for them to come.
We met them at the front gate and directed them to our site. After a brief walking tour, we showed them the sparking pool. We had lunch poolside and splashed around some more. For dessert, we went and played mini-golf. Karissa’s dad won by a stroke.
After a short nap/rest, we headed to Siesta Beach for the drum circle. It was packed! It took something like 30 minutes to find a parking spot. When we started walking towards the beach, we heard some drums already going. We got a great spot on the first row of the circle. We would have more pictures, but focused on taking lots of video. A video will be coming on our YouTube channel, but editing videos is still very time-consuming for me. Subscribe to the channel to make sure you never miss a video!
We had McDonald’s for dinner on the drive home. Mimi slept with the kids.
In the morning, we got to show Karissa’s parents what moving day looks like. We were headed up north to Lazydays again. We’d spent enough time at Sun-N-Fun. We wanted to get in more time at our (possible) favorite RV resort, save some money vs. Sun-N-Fun, and be close to the airport to drop off Karissa for her return flight.
All-in-all, it was a great but short visit and a fun-filled 24 hours.
