We made our annual visit to see Santa at Bass Pro Shops. They have a great set, an organized system, great Santas, and awesome prices. For $15, we get digital rights to a professional photo. We can’t say enough good things about it. Sure, there’s a bit of a wait (3 hours this year), but for the price and quality, it’s unbeatable.
We skipped Bass Pro Santa last year because we got some shots with an even better (more expensive) Santa. We did it for Adelaide’s first two Christmas seasons and regret skipping it last year. Oh, well.
We arrived at about 11am, got on the list to see Santa, and made a day of it. We had lunch at BD’s Mongolian Grill, visited Meijer while Emerson and mommy napped in the car, and explored Bass Pro before it was our turn.
Emerson’s favorite part of the day was the carousel. And saying hello and goodbye to Santa from afar. Up close, he was deathly afraid of him. Of course, Adelaide loved the whole experience, and was happy to see Santa and tell him what she wants for Christmas – Barbie clothes!
