Halloween 2018 was a success. Adelaide wore two different costumes. The first one was Anna from Frozen. She added a cape in the morning to become Super Anna. It didn’t last too long, but was fun. When it was time to trick-or-treat, she became Elsa. We wanted Emerson to be something unique, but with time constraints and poor execution on our part, he wore Adelaide’s sheep costume from 2 years ago. It’s a high quality costume and is extremely warm – something important in our tundra-like climate.
A neighbor put red balloons and clowns inside a few storm sewers around the neighborhood. My brother, deathly afraid of Pennywise and the movie “It” refused to come to our neighborhood. Hilarious.
Anyhow, we had a successful Halloween. We just wish we had more trick-or-treaters at our house, as Adelaide likes giving away candy almost as much as getting it.
