I turned 31 years old today. It’s hard to fathom being that old. There’s something scary about turning 30; but being “older than 30” is another milestone on the scary scale.
To celebrate, we had breakfast with my parents and brother. We took a trip to Wal-Mart to buy clip-on earrings for Adelaide. We’ll get her ears pierced at some point, but this will keep her happy for now. We played (poorly) in a volleyball tournament. Then we had a grilled dinner at home with the four of us and our nephew. It was a great day and I hope it’s a precursor to another great year ahead.
